Week 3 assignment

The Inspiration program is truly a breakthrough in technological teaching. The program can help student's organize their thoughts, projects, notes, whatever it is they like well keeping the process simple and organized. The Inspiration program not only helps the student with the organization, it does so in a way that allows any student to be traditional or original in their presentation. Having this aspect greatly enhances the effort many students would be willing to put forth into a project, finding a sense of self identity can happen even through a project. The program is universal, not limited to one subject or one outline type. It is perfect for the more techniclogically inclined students of the future generations. The Inspiration can be used in the classroom to take simple notes or create a presentation that is easy for the class to understand and analyze. As traditional methods become more obsolete newer and easier programs may replace worksheets and outlines helping students understand more. Inspiration may well be the future of education outlining.

Teaching children to write can be a horrid experience or an extremely enjoyable one, however it all relies on two things. How well you know your students and how well you can connect with them. As technology expands and becomes more common among teenagers and young adults, even some as young as elementary school children, it is essential for a teacher to learn how to use this to one's advantage. Using imagery can be an effective alternative to outdated overhead projections, students on this generation respond better to the technology they are used to. Having a student write a journal can be a fantastic idea however having student's write a blog can be a much easier source to maintain as well as for the students to maintain as well. Many children already have online journals and social websites that may be implemented into teaching methods. The use of Myspace to present a work of literature "as the author", creating a fan group on facebook as "supporters of the revolutionary war". Media such as movies, music, books, comics can all be found online and can help connect with students on a more exciting level. The teacher can also monitor students posts, blogs, and other entries at an easier time. As long as one knows what sources to use and how to effectively integrate what the children can easy connect with, a teacher can teach just as well if not better than the traditional way.

Blogs, it does your body good.

Blogs and internet sources such as Youtube or other personal informational sources are rarely taken seriously. What most people don't realize is how useful a video on Youtube or a post on a Blog may be. Blogs could be a good source of students or teachers to not only utilize a common way to share information but to able to express their thoughts and opinions about a certain matter. Although Blogs can be considered a causal "hobby" may would beg to differ, just as with any other controversial issue both sides have valid points and arguments. The problem being most people can not consider blogs a serious enough source or medium for the class room, which is a shame. Blogs can be a creative way for a student to present a project also making it easily accessible for later use and for children that had missed class on the day of the presentation. Overall Blogs can be an useful tool in helping to captivate the new generation and connect with the students more.

Informational videos on the web can be helpful, even if the source is from Youtube. It is a common source for music and personal random videos, in which any person can upload. However it is easy to find many guides for what an individual needs to do. From videos on how to cook a chicken dinner, fixing a sink, playing Stairway to Heaven, to even writing and creating your own blog; Online video sites can provide step by step information about the topics you need to know about. There are many helpful things and misleading things that children can find on the internet, the key is to do more research in order to figure out fact from fiction. The more you link the more you'll learn.
